Picture
Offered every Wednesday at 7:15pm led by Deny Morgan

Kundalini Yoga is a powerful path to a healthy, happy and holy life. Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga of Awareness. It is the science of angles and triangles and is connected with Tantric Numerology. The practice involves Kriyas, which means "completed action", and is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you a deep experience of your soul. The technology of Kundalini Yoga will clear and clean your body and mind. When the "Kundalini Rises" the soul is realized, elevated, awakened and infinite!

The philosophy of Kundalini heightens and expands upon the Hatha Yoga school of thought. Traditional Yoga acknowledges that there are 7 energy centers or chakras, whereas Kundalini Yogis believe that we have "10 Energetic Bodies". To learn more about this, click this link about Kundalini Yoga.

In Kundalini Yoga the mental, physical, and subtle energies of the body are harnessed and put under the domain of the will, which is the instrument of the soul. The practice is very precise and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood. The body's 72,000 energetic pathways, known as nadis or meridians, are stimulated through the practice of mantras (sound formulas) and mudras (gesures). Naad Yoga, the sacred sound current, is a primary focus of Kundalini. The healing vibrations of the human voice as well as a gong are also used to enhance the currents of the cosmic consciousness.

The ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga were once heavily guarded secrets and taught to a only select few for centuries. In 1969, Yogi Bhajan taught Kundalini Yoga openly in order to prepare humanity for the major changes that this planet is going through as we cross from the Piscean to the Aquarian Age. He believed that Kundalini Yoga would bring about the necessary awareness and fortitude to survive these troubling times. This is Yogi Bhajan's precious gift to the West.  To learn more about the legacy of the great Maha Tantric,Yogi Bhajan, see: Yogi Bhajan or watch this youtube video.
