Dry Brushing services available by appointment

Dry Brushing

Your skin is a complex system made up of nerves, glands, and cell layers that, when healthy, serves as a buffer that helps protect your body.

Another crucial role your skin plays is supporting optimal detoxification. But if your skin is overrun with toxins or dead skin cells, it will not be able to eliminate wastes from your body efficiently.

This is where dry skin brushing can be invaluable, not only in brushing off dead skin cells but also in activating waste removal via your lymph nodes.
Dry brushing also stimulates skin renewal and makes it soft to the touch.

Here are some of the other benefits of dry brushing:
  1. Cleanses the lymphatic system
  2. Removes dead skin layers
  3. Stimulates circulation
  4. Strengthens the immune system [by getting extra toxins off your body]
  5. Stimulates the hormone and oil-producing glands
  6. Removes cellulite [this specific goal will take a bit more of dry brushing and the results might be evident in about 5 months]
  7. Tightens the skin preventing premature aging
  8. Tones the muscles
  9. Improves the function of the nervous system
  10. Helps digestion
  11. Invigorates your whole body for next to nothing!

Ear Candeling

Ear Candling is the holistic way of treating ear aches and other common issues related to the ear. It is best defined as the use of an ear candle which is a beeswax or paraffin wax coated cloth that is shaped into a conical cylinder about 10” to 15” in length with varying widths.

Ear Candling is a therapeutic relaxation technique similar to acupressure, acupuncture, and aromatherapy.

Ear Candling services are available by appointment and per practitioner.

How does bamboo benefit you?
Extreme sensation of relaxation and well-being
Relieves tightness in muscles and tendons
Skin feels more supple

Lomi Lomi

The spirit of Hawaiian tradition brings you serenity with this soothing massage.  A true connection between the body, mind and spirit awaits you.  Let the tranquility of this “dance” lull you to a peaceful sleep like the rhythm of the waves of the ocean.

Also referred to as “Loving Hands” massage or just simply “massage”, the traditional definition of Lomi Lomi is to rub, press, crush, massage, rub out; to work in and out, as claws of a contented cat; break up into small pieces.

Lomi Lomi is derived from the ancient Polynesians, specifically the master healers of Hawaii, or Kahunas.  It combines the use of prayer (pule), breath (ha) and energy (mana) with many different rhythmic strokes using the thumbs, knuckles, forearms and elbows.  It releases congestion in the body and improves physical and athletic performance.  Lomi Lomi can break up calcium deposits and lactic acid build-up, relieve stress and tension, assist in blood and lymph flow and stimulate the removal of wastes and toxins.    But that only covers the physical level of healing.  There is also a very mental, emotional and spiritual level of healing.  This is done by assisting in the letting go of old patterns, behaviors or negative thoughts that are believed to block energy flow throughout the body.  This is done with the above mentioned prayer, breath, energy and the rhythmic dance that increases that energy.  It is believed that Lomi Lomi returns a person to harmony and balance.

Modality availability varies per practitioner. Please specify for specialty treatments;
