About the Mission of Love: http://missionoflove.org/ Established in 1989, the Mission of Love provides humanitarian aid at home and  abroad entirely with volunteers and donations. Some of the amazing missions include bringing a Medical team along with thousands of dollars worth of surgery supplies to Guatemala City to perform eighteen cleft palate surgeries in four days for Mayan children; 45 different air lifts to provide clothing, food, medical supplies and construction materials to La Mosquitia, Honduras; Built multiple homes,  a school and provided food, clothing and other supplies for the Lakota Indians on Pine Ridge Reservation, the poorest reservation in the United States. 
The list is extensive, heart breaking and inspiring.
In 2010 The Mission of Love received the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation Award Scheduled this year are the following thus far
April 12    Tecpan, Guatemala to build the Mary Beth Eckberg Hospice for the Mayans
May 12      Spirit Lake Dakota Nation, North Dakota to build 2 homes
June 20      Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota to build homes
Aug 11       Tecpan, Guatamala with Dr. Michael Obeng & Dr. Todd Bolitan and    medical team to perform cleft palate surgeries
