LYRA & AERIAL SILKS TEACHER
Jaime Bouvier has been studying aerial arts for 10 years, starting with silks, and moving on to lyra, trapeze, rope, and straps. She has studied at the New England Center for Circus Arts in Vermont, at La Caserne in Montreal, at the Island, in Bristol, England, and the Rencontre De Danse Aerienne, in St. Nazaire, France. She also has performed and taught workshops regionally including in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Buffalo, and Toronto.
Jaime specializes in partner work and dynamic work including rolls, spins, releases, and the ever elusive perfect beat. Jaime's classes are highly focused on technique and proper muscle engagement to ensure a long and healthy aerial journey for those who choose that path.
